One day soon, there will be a really, really long legal disclaimer filling this page. For all the boring and precise words, it will mean basically this:

This is my personal Blog and represents my views and opinions, not those of an employer, any professional organization of which I am a member, or other entity. Any submitted comments may not reflect my opinion and are not owned by me.

The content that I create, including writing, photographs, drawings, videos, charts, graphs and other whizbang doohickeys that fall out of my head, are owned by me, unless otherwise noted.

The content created by guests and contributing posters belongs to the original content creator unless otherise indicated.

I don't collect, store, sell or do anything else with any personal information submitted by commenters.

It's all in good fun. Nothing contained in this blog is meant to defame, materially damage or otherwise negatively affect anyone. If you are unduly offended, please contact me and maybe we can work it out. Otherwise, maybe you simply need to read one of the other ten million blogs in the world and not this one.

All comments are moderated. I try my best to weed out any comments that might violate the principles described above but comment content is the property of the submitter. I'm fine with viewpoints that differ from my own and actively solicit constructive interaction. However, I reserve the right to delete any comments that seem to cross the line and I will make that determination to the best of my ability. I also reserve the right to ban a commenter who abuses the appropriate level of public discourse or who spams.

Speaking of my ability, I do the best that I can. I try to make sure that any information that I supply is factual and accurate, but, in the end, it's still just my viewpoint. I make no representation otherwise. Take it as information to be verified or merely as entertainment or only as something you have to read because you're a relative, but the user is responsible for any further use or action resulting from the information contained in the Blog. Information contained in the Blog could be incorrect or outdated. If I discover this or am informed, I will correct the error within a reasonable amount of time. I may or may not notate the original Blog entry to make the correction clearly visible.

Sometimes I mention products or services that I like or don't like. I receive no compensation of any kind as a result. Again, it's just my opinion. It's like you asked me over the back fence if I like the hamburgers at a certain restaurant or who my insurance agent is. Except that I type the answer.
